I’m a new one too, huh?
Colored pencil. A facebook friend posted a super vulgar rap song on Facebook that was pumping up her energy in the slow sleepy afternoon. I listened to it, and the clear young valley girl meets new york voice made me picture this face singing and strutting around with attitude. The real singer looks way more wholesome and sweet than the lyrics sound!

Wanted to try out the metallic sharpies my dad got me for Valentine’s day. Drew this. Paul would probably scowl. I think even in pencil form he hates his pictures.
Accidental Art
This is an oldie, from two Sundays ago. I went for a long run in the local park alone, my first outdoor run in a long time (I hate the cold and dark!) I shouldn’t have done this with a marker sketch on the back that is bleeding through! Not based on a real person, but I think it looks like it, and that makes me glad.

For a Friend
I made a goofy YouTube outro image for a Korean friend of mine, and he was super psyched. I love positive feedback! Hahaha. I did not draw the head; he asked me to make something build around his avatar “It doesn’t have to be fancy- just some background, a simple oval body with arms and a Subscribe sign haha.” When I showed this to him, he called it a masterpiece. Not creative, but an accomplishment I feel good about. I still have 17-27 more to go.
